Hello Beer Lovers!
This is D.J. from Consumers Beverages and just like many of you, I am a devoted beer lover. In this new segment I will be giving in-depth reviews for select beers on a bi-weekly/monthly basis. I will also have guest reviewers and other cool beer related chat so check back often! If any of these beers sound intriguing, stop in to your local Consumers Beverages Center and pick some up! Below is the beer I chose to review for this month.
Cheers!
| Brewery: | Genesee Brewery |
| Beer: | Genny Bock |
| Appearance: | The beer has a brown reddish hue. The head is thick about 2 inches tall with an off beige coloration. Good head retention rings of foam line my pint glass marking its passage. |
| Aroma: | light, toasted caramel |
| Taste: | The flavor of the beer is of toasted grain and a bit of caramel sweetness. |
| Summary: | Genny Bock is crisp and clean all the way around. If you’re looking for a nice Bock beer this season pick this up and give it a try. Do it soon though because it’s a limited release...Too bad because it would be in my beer fridge a lot more if it was available year round. |
